Stackoza is a software engineer and artist from Cairo and currently based in Berlin. He uses code as a creative tool and medium through which ideas are expressed and experienced. He also enjoys making artworks showing surreal/abstract aesthetics, often incorporating procedural techniques in modeling and texturing through his process. His interest in arts began with drawing, then moved towards a digital direction right after trying Microsoft Paint for the first time in 98.

Over the years, he produced works with several creative apps in the graphics and sound domains, focusing on evolving his style and techniques, and studying these apps from the technical and usability perspectives. His interests translated to studying and graduating with a bachelor's degree in software engineering, focusing on new media technologies from both the programmer and artist points of view.

At the age of 17, he landed his first job working for a digital marketing agency where he delivered his first live work, a desktop media playing app for Schweppes/Coca Cola as part of their 2007 digital campaign. Later he worked on several projects delivering new experiences on the web and mobile platforms. His latest projects are teaching playing the piano through a mobile app with the super talented and passionate people at Skoove, and changing the way people eat with HelloFresh.
